Saint Theodores Lighthouse (Located Argostoli)

Originally built in 1828 by the British man Charles Napier.

This magnificent lighthouse was later destroyed in a large earthquake and then rebuilt to the lighthouse you see today. One of the most photographed lighthouses in Greece. Set back off the road just out of Argostoli on the road to Lassi people come form far and wide to visit and photograph this architectural beauty.  We have spent many peaceful evenings sat at the foot of the lighthouse listening to the waves break on the rocks and our children laugh as they play hide and seek in the pillars of the lighthouse.
