Mount Ainos is another place that is well worth a visit on your holiday.

Sitting 1,628 high Mount Ainos is the highest mountain in all of the Ionian islands. With breath taking views out to Zakynthos Lefkada and Corfu on a clear   day you really will be taken back by the views.

Wild ponies inhabit the dense pine forest slopes of the mountain and when at the top you really are up in the clouds.

The summit is accessible by either hiking, cycling or even by driving right to the top, and the roads are quite impressive to say you are driving up a mountain.

The summit of mount Ainos is 300m higher than the UK's highest (Ben Nevis) we definitely think it is something many people

would like to do when they visit the island, and it is a great place to take some photos and create some great stories to tell!
