Lourdas
Lourdas is a lovely holiday resort, one for all ages.
Set on 3 tiers, with shops and tavernas on all 3 levels the views from Lourdata out towards neighbouring Zakynthos really are superb. The bottom level of Lourdas is home to some lovely traditional seafront tavernas and of course the very long sandy Lourdas beach. We have used this beach and swam in it's seas with our young children and swimming there was a breeze for them. Lourdas is set on 3 levels, on each level many tavernas can be found along with supermarkets and gift shops. Due to it been set on 3 tiers walking to and from the beach can be a little hard, especially if you struggle with mobility and are based at the top. Car hire would solve this and I'm sure taxis will be more than happy to run you back to the top if you have spent the day on the beach. We stayed in Trapezaki in 2018 and walked to Lourdas on an evening, this took us around 35 minutes with the children but I was a pleasant walk, away from the main road. A taxi ride back to Trapezaki after our evening meal cost us €5.
Whether you spend your holiday in Lourdas or you visit for a beach day, we are sure you will be impressed with it!
