One of our favourite beaches on the island. Antisamos really is as beautiful as it looks from above.

 

A white pebbled beach, clear emerald waters and her many resident fish makes swimming and snorkelling here so much fun. Antisamos (along with Myrtos) made it into the blockbuster movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin. We have many beach days at Antisamos on our annual holiday and never tire of it. Our children swim in it's warm waters but it does drop off quite deep, quite quickly so parental supervision is a must. You can drive right the way down to the beach, and there is always plenty of parking.

 

Antisamos boasts two beachfront tavernas serving refreshments right down onto the beach. In the summer months Antisamos can become quite busy especially on the weekends when the locals descend on the the beach for some relaxation. Sun loungers are available and the beach has its own watersports, with pedalos, jet skis, paddle boards and many other fun on the water activities. Lazy days here seem to he some of the best, before you know it you check your watch and you have spent nearly a full day captured by Antisamos.
